    Mrs. Emma Dublin Bojang was born January 4, 1947, to the late Melvin Dublin Sr., and Victoria Gales Dublin. She transitioned from labor to reward on June 16, 2020.
    She attended Johnston County Training School in Smithfield NC. She worked for the Johnston County Sheriff’s Department as a Jailer for many years until she retired.
    She was a member of Mt. Zion Church Deliverance of Smithfield, NC. She was a member of the Women of Zion until her health began to decline. She loved crocheting, shopping, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a woman of style who enjoyed entertaining and had great hospitality.
    She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Estelle Dublin; two sisters, Annie Price and Delia Watson; two brothers, Melvin Dublin Jr and Edward Roy Dublin; and two grandsons, Milton Dublin Jr and Derrick Scarboro.
    She leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Milton Earl Dublin Sr. of Smithfield, NC; four daughters, Jennifer Dublin of Dudley, NC, Celestine Perry (Tony) of the home, Emily Stephens (Greg) of Smithfield, NC, and Carolyn Best of Clayton, NC; one biological sister, Mary Sanders of Smithfield, NC; two special sisters, Hazel Fulton of Selma, NC and Betsy Sanders, “Wee Bit,” of Smithfield, NC; thirteen grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends; and a special friend, Mr. Frank Pierce of Wilsons Mills, NC.
