Emmett Blake Jordan, age 6 months, passed away at his home on May 8, 2018. Born in Johnston County on October 28, 2017, he was the son of Christopher Blake Jordan and Jennifer Michelle Carpenter. Emmett will be forever remembered for his big eyes and his beautiful smile.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 14, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with burial following in Riverside Cemetery in Smithfield. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 2-3 PM.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his paternal grandparents, John E. “Eddie” Jordan, Jr. and wife Vickie; maternal grandmother, Sally Carpenter; his sisters, Kaelynn Blayce Jordan and Charlotte Aisley Jordan, his aunts and uncles, John and Jessica Jordan, Justin and Betsy Earp, Tammie and Chris Bennett, Terri and Chris Ward, Lawson, Kyle and Marshall Carpenter; and several nieces, nephews, great aunts and great uncles.
