Benson, NC: Mrs. Eunice Stancil Williams, age 92, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehab Center in Benson. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, December 16, 2019 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Revs. Curtiss Tatum and Donnie Barbour will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson.
Mrs. Williams was born on April 6, 1927 in Johnston County to the late Harvey and Beulah Tanner Stancil. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Williams, son, Kenneth Harold Williams, son-in-law, Kenneth Dale McLamb, sister, Inez Stancil Holland and a brother, Roy Stancil. Mrs. Williams retired from the pressing department at Block Industries and was a homemaker. She was a member of Hodges Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughter, Glenda McLamb; daughter-in-law, Becky Williams both of Benson; grandchildren, Ross McLamb and wife, Laine; Kelly Dale McLamb and wife, Laura; Amanda Williams and Jimmie Godwin; Amy Carroll and husband, Kevin; great-grandchildren, Lilly Kay McLamb, Kendall John McLamb, Tyler Grant Carroll, Tucker Kenneth Carroll and Tanner Mitchell Williams; sister, Katie Hill of Virginia; sister-in-law, Margaret Stancil of Benson; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 9:45 AM-10:45 AM, Monday, December 16, 2019 prior to the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC and other times at the home.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.
