Benson, NC: Mrs. Fannie Lou Surles Beasley, age 88, died Sunday, February 17, 2019, at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Benson. Private Services will be held by the family. Officiating will be Rev. Gerald Pearce and Mrs. Angie Williams. Burial will be in Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Benson.
Mrs. Beasley was born January 25, 1931 in Johnston County to the late Fulton and Elma Ellen Morgan Surles. She was also preceded in death by her son, Timmy Fulton Beasley; sister, Betty Cranor; and brothers, Edward Surles and John Pat Surles. Mrs. Beasley was a homemaker.
Surviving include her husband of 67 years, R. J. Beasley; children and spouses, Jerry and Teresa Beasley of Cary, Wanda and Gerald Williford of Benson and Jimmy Beasley of Wilmington; grandchildren and spouse, Chris and Tina Williford of Benson and Victoria Beasley of San Francisco, CA; great-grandchildren, Blake Williford and Caroline Williford; brother and sister-in-law, Dan M. and Brenda Surles of Wake Forest; several nieces and nephews.
