Zebulon – Florence Gargis Eason, age 71, passed away Wednesday January 6, 2021 at Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh. She was born in Wake County on February 26, 1948 to the late Bloise and Dorothy Gargis. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Bloise “Buck” Gargis Jr.; brother in law’s, Eddie Eason and Danny O’Neal.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
She is survived by husband of 45 years, Roy Eason of Zebulon; sister, Reeba Gargis; grandchildren, William and Candace Castleberry; great grandchildren, Madison, Izzy, Lynzi and Dalton Castleberry; sister in law’s, Lynn Creech, Carol O’Neal, Imogene Eason. Mrs. Eason was a member of Hayes Barton Baptist Church in Raleigh and enjoyed her work in child care, shopping, trips to the beach and mountains, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and dog Tango.
