Dunn, NC: Mrs. Frances Peacock Hinnant, age 75, died Friday at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Benson. Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Sunday at Smyrna Original Free Will Baptist Church in Dunn. Officiating will be Rev. Richard Whitman. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hinnant was born on May 9, 1942 in Johnston County to the late Marvin and Calonia Dunn Peacock. She retired from the textile industry and was a member of Smyrna Original Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving include husband of thirty-seven years, Shelton Hinnant; children and spouse, Wanda Lee of Four Oaks, Darlene and Frankie Hobson of Dunn, and Don Stanley of Four Oaks; step-children and spouse, Belinda Jenkins, Randy and Gail Hinnant all of Clayton; eight grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and five step-great grandchildren; and six step-great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 6:00PM – 8:00PM PM Saturday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home of Darlene & Frankie Hobson, 415 Lee Johnson Rd, Dunn, NC 28334.
