Smithfield – Franklin Edwood “Frank” Holloman, 81, died Tuesday afternoon, November 28, 2017, in Johnston UNC Health. Born March 14, 1936 in Johnston County to the late James and Cassie Evans Holloman, he was retired from Carolina Packers after 46 years. Frank loved to work in his garden, giving most of what he produced to others.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2017, in the Yelverton Grove Church Cemetery, with Mr. Luby C. Tyner, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Parrish Funeral Home.
Surviving are his wife, Jo Linda Holloman; son, Ronnie Holloman of Smithfield; daughter, Sherrie Langston and husband Ken of Princeton; brothers, Jesse Holloman of Pine Level and Jimmy Holloman of Brogden; sister, Hazel Woodard of Princeton; three grandchildren, Jessica Grotto and husband Nick, Justin Holloman and Sarah Langston and a great granddaughter, Brooklynn Grotto.
