George Harding Van Hoy, 74, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11:00am in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Louise P. Van Hoy; son, Lynwood Van Hoy and wife, Sharon of Smithfield; daughters, Cindy Weisenberger and husband, Brian of Stumpy Point, Wyndy Dudley and husband Greg of Benson; grandchildren, Andrew Van Hoy, Austin Van Hoy, Hana Dassan, Leila Dassan, Sam Dassan, Rusty Elgani, Caylee Weaver and Noah Weaver; sisters, Annette Crocker of Cary, Faye Allen and husband Richard of Clayton. He was preceded in death by his mother Jacquilyn Pender Bissette of Kenly and father, Warren Van Hoy of Goldsboro.
