Hubert Archibald, a retired DOT truck driver and life long resident of Johnston County passed September 7 at UNC Rex Hospital.
Hubert is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jean and children, son Virgil of Selma N.C. and daughter Wanda of Four Oaks N.C. Hubert is preceded in death by his parents the late Nollie and Della Archibald; brothers Willie, William, and Josh; sisters Pauline, Joyce, and Pearline.
Hubert was a longtime member at Wesley Chapel AME church where he sang with the male chorus. He enjoyed fishing, planting his garden seasonally, listening to gospel music, and spending time with his great-grandchildren.
All Attendees are required to wear a mask to enter the building and asked to participate in social distancing.
