Gerald Carlisle Baine, Jr., age 64, of Pine Level, passed away unexpectedly on April 9, 2021. Born in Darlington, SC on February 5, 1957, he was the son of Carolyn Gibson Baine of Kentucky and the late Gerald Carlisle Baine, Sr. Jerry serviced in the United States Air Force at the end of the Vietnam War.
He was an avid Nascar fan. He had a deep love for his family, Topsail Island and fishing.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 13, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with Rev. Ray Smeltzer officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be held in Evergreen Memorial Park near Princeton. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife of 33 years, Patricia Rose Baine; his son, Caleb Leland Zachary Baine of the home; sister Lind D. Dubesky and Randy of Ohio; brothers Mark R. Baine and Joy of South Carolina, L. Russell Baine of Asheville, Christopher L. Baine and Kim of Kentucky; a niece Josie Baine and nephew Dylan Baine and wife Jessica, all of Kentucky.
