Four Oaks – Ginger Ann Pleasant, age 59, passed away January 4, 2019 at her home in Four Oaks. Born in Johnston County December 18, 1959, she was a daughter to the late Gaston and Opal Allen Raynor. The Family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home on Wednesday January 9, 2019 from 6 PM to 8 PM. Services will be conducted 11 AM Thursday January 10, 2019 at Barbour’s Chapel Church in Four Oaks, with Rev. Ricky Byrd officiating, with burial to follow at the church cemetery. Ginger is survived by Sons Bobby Pleasant and girlfriend Dede Bivins of Clayton, Brandon Pleasant of Dunn; A daughter Tawnya Dame of Hampstead; Brother Allen Dale Raynor and wife Florence of Selma; Sister Judy Mattingly and husband Kent of Denton, TX; Twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Ginger was a member of Barbour’s Chapel Church in Four Oaks, the Women’s Auxiliary of the American Legion #109 in Benson, and was well known for her work with Wake County Speedway.
