Selma – Gladys Radford Little, age 95, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Rex Hospital. Born May 19, 1922 in Johnston County to the late Matthew Gray and Katie Hunt Radford. She is preceded in death by her brother, John L. Radford and sister, Ila Mae Price. Gladys was a long time member of Little Creek Primitive Baptist church. Gladys loved reading her Bible daily, working crossword puzzles, preparing food for after church dinners, visiting with friends for lunch at Bojangles, and taking day trips and going to restaurants with her sister and grandson.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Elder Craig Olive officiating. Burial will follow in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors from 1:00 – 2:00 pm Saturday just prior to the service.
Surviving are her son, Willie Melvin Little, Jr. and wife Flores of Selma; and grandson, Willie M. Little III.
