Willie “Glenn” Holloman, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, in Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, he was born a son of the late Willie and Dorothy Holloman on July 5, 1951, in Sampson County.
He was a member of Watson’s Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church in Kenly for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, visiting Lake Gaston, cooking, riding the golf cart, watching Nascar, and birdwatching. He also enjoyed woodworking, but most importantly he loved spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma, with the burial to follow in Kenly Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mrs. Brenda Boykin Holloman, son Michael Holloman (wife Leagh) of Kenly, daughter, Christy Barfield (husband Chris) of Lucama, brothers, Jackie Holloman (wife Alice) of Lucama, John Holloman (wife Sandra) of Clayton, sister Linda Lee (husband Ronnie) of Selma, grandchildren, Connor Barfield, Courtney Barfield, Caitlyn Holloman, five nephews, four nieces, and his dog Lacy.
