Glenn Thomas Cowell, 66, of Lucama passed away at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Wilson on Friday, October 30, 2020. He was born August 25, 1954 to Grace Swinson Cowell and the late Thomas Guy Cowell. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a brother, Willis Cowell.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 9, 2020 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations, Princeton, NC.
The funeral will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 9, 2020 in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home and Cremations with the Reverend Mike Jarman officiating. The committal will be immediately following the service in Golden Gate Memorial Cemetery in Pikeville, NC.
He is survived by his wife, Patty Smith Cowell; daughters, Tammy Layman (Terry) of Kenly, Dorothy Lucas Wade of Lucama, Crystal Garrison (Skyler) of Lucama; brothers, Jerry Cowell of Beaufort, and Dallas Cowell (Patsy) of Jacksonville; sister, Sally Cowell of Maple Hill; grandchildren, Casey, Nikoluas, Tyler, Hannah, Haley, Timothy, Cody, Tristan, Christain, Chayton, and Laina; great grandchildren, Ryleigh, Dainel, Karli, Logan, Cameryn, Kaislee and Caison.
The family invites everyone to their home at 7813 Tedder Road, Lucama, NC 27851 after the funeral service on Monday, November 9, 2020.
