Gloria Faye Collins Braswell, 81, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020 at UNC Johnston Health. She was born on October 10, 1938 in Wayne County to the late Barney Collins, Jr. and Elizabeth Jones Collins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Braswell and brothers, Larry Collins and Donald Collins.
A graveside service will be on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at 11:00 am, in Princeton Cemetery, with the Reverend Dennis Pollock officiating.
Family and friends are welcome to visit with the family at Faye’s home, 406 S. Center St., Princeton, NC.
She is survived by a son, Vance Earl Braswell of Wilson Mills; daughters, Belinda Braswell Rigdon of Princeton and Libby Braswell of Princeton; brothers, Norman Collins and wife, Kathy of Goldsboro, and Barney Collins III. of Missouri; sister, Ann Griffin of Princeton; grandchildren, Jamey Braswell and wife, Brittany and Michael Braswell of wife, Megan; and great grandchildren, Payton Braswell, Cohen Braswell and Mason Braswell as well as her canine companion, Miloh.
