Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Governor Adams, age 90, died Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Liberty Commons. Graveside funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday at Bethel Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Four Oaks. Pastor Eddie White will officiate.
Mr. Adams was born on August 9, 1927 in Johnston County to the late Jesse and Lillie Allen Adams. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lora Jean Adams, children, Larry Daniel Stout, Donna Maner. Mr. Adams was retired from the US Navy and also sales.
Surviving are children, Ron Morgan, and Debbie Stallon; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Joyce Adams and brother-in-law, Arthur B. Hudson.
The family will receive friends 9:30 AM to 10:30AM Friday prior to the graveside service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.
