Gregory Michael Hyer, Jr., 39, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 2:00pm at St. Ann Catholic Church.
Greg was born on August 25, 1978 in Wakefield, RI to Gregory Hyer, Sr. and Robin Curren Boggs. He worked as a Digital Media Strategist at excelerate in Raleigh, NC.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Jessica Gadell Hyer; children, Faith, Dylan, Ava, Gavin and Colin; father, Greg Hyer; mother, Robin Hyer; brothers, Christopher Hyer and Kenneth Hyer; a sister, Julieann Hyer. Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents, Warren and Ann Hyer.
Greg was passionate about family, baseball and community. He cherished his wife and kids. He and Jessie were a team. Their relationship was based on unconditional love, mutual respect and endless support. From coaching his sons’ baseball teams to cheerleading his daughters’ soccer, volleyball and dance teams, Greg always put family first. They will treasure the memories of singing together in the car, beach trips, movies, and love of music, among countless others. His determination and perseverance drove him to excel in his digital marketing career, while his entrepreneurial spirit led him to continuously push the boundaries and better himself. He was a man of character, integrity and commitment and will be forever loved and missed.
