Micro – Gregory Paul McKeel, age 57, died Thursday, August 22, 2019, at his home. Born November 1, 1961, in Johnston County he was a son of Patricia Batten McKeel of Micro and the late Billy Ray McKeel. Greg and his brother Stan worked for many years together in the construction business, concentrating mostly on masonry.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Al Warrick officiating. Burial will follow in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday just prior to the service.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his brother, Stanton “Stan” McKeel of Micro; niece, Melody McKeel-McCoy and husband David of Stedman; nephews, Jason McKeel and wife Christy of Dunn and Bradley McKeel and wife Kathleen of Falcon, several great-nieces and nephews and a special friend, Lynda Pittman of Selma.
