Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Gwendolyn Dodd Moore, age 79, of 1917 Juniper Church Road died Saturday at her residence. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel, Four Oaks. Officiating will be Revs. Mike Bassett and Parlia Moore. Burial will follow in Juniper Church Cemetery, Four Oaks.
Mrs. Moore was born on May 24, 1938 in Johnston County to the late David D. and Velma Parker Dodd. She was a retired office administrator. Mrs. Moore was a member of Holly Grove Advent Christian Church.
Surviving are husband of 37 years, James Moore of Four Oaks; stepchildren and spouses, Danny Moore and wife, Jamie of Meadow, Donna Moore of Benson; granddaughter, Olivia Moore; great-granddaughter, Ava Mae Martin; nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks Monday from 6:00PM to 8:00PM and other times at the home.
