Harold Glenn Hawley, age 81, died Monday evening, May 18, 2020 in Litchford Nursing and Rehab Center in Raleigh. Born March 15, 1939 in Johnston County he was a son of the late George Vernon and Ila Peedin Hawley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Hawley; and two sisters, Brenda Hawley Crocker and Joyce Adams. Glenn was a Pastor in The Church of God organization for many years.
Due to the restrictions from COVID-19, no services will be conducted at this time. A memorial service to celebrate Glenn’s life will be held later in the fall, when everyone will be able to attend.
Surviving are his children, Ronald Hawley and wife Melody of Las Vegas, NV, Sharon Spampani and husband Steve of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Scott Hawley and wife Dana of Creedmoor; brothers, Bobby Hawley of Selma and Jackie Hawley of Four Oaks; sister, Sandra Parrish of Micro; grandchildren, Sabrina Tuttle, Stephen Hawley, Greyson Hawley, Christopher Spampani, Logan Hawley, and Ava Hawley; and great grandchildren, Chloe Tuttle and Jazmin Tuttle.
