Mrs. Helen Thompson Stewart, age 78, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Emerald Heath and Rehab in Lillington, NC. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM-Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Officiating will be Revs. Billy Cashwell and Horace Johnson. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson, NC.
Mrs. Stewart was born in Johnston County, NC to the late Cooper P. and Ella Mae Dunn Thompson. She was preceded in death by her son, Stacy Keith Stewart, and her brothers, Ronnie Thompson and C.P. Thompson, Jr., special sister-aunt, Repsie Johnson. Mrs. Stewart was a retired cosmetologist and was a homemaker. She was a member of Benson Grove Baptist Church, Benson, NC.
Surviving include her husband of 58 years, William Stacy Stewart; daughter, Amy Lisa Stewart; grandchildren, Alicia Hope Norris and husband, Phillip, Bryan Keith Stewart and wife, Melissa, and Damian Michael Stewart; great-granddaughter, Catherine Stacy Stewart; sister, Shirley Johnson; many nieces and nephews; special grand dogs, Maile, Makana, Kolu, Laka, and Reeses.
The family will receive friends 6:00PM-8:00PM, Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC and other times at the home.
