Hilda Clifton Stuart, 82, daughter of the late Oker and Nellie Johnson Clifton passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2019.
Surviving are her daughter, Nell Ann Stuart Surles and her husband James of Wendell; a grandson, Tyler Surles and his wife Spencer Lynne of Zebulon; brother, Glenn Clifton and wife Carol of Benson; sister, Neta Clifton Jones of Clayton; nieces, Regina Alexander, Betty Lee, Ronda Morton and Dana Stancil; nephews, Tommy Jones and Eddie Clifton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles T. Stuart; one sister, Rose Clifton Young; and special friend, Mac Guill.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 11:00am in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service from 10 until 11:00am. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
