Deacon Hubert “June Bug” McFadgen Jr. transitioned Friday March 10, 2017 surrounded by family at his home in Smithfield, NC.
Deacon McFadgen’s memories will be cherished by his wife; Mablerene McFadgen of Smithfield, NC, one daughter; Beverly McFadgen, grandson Christian N. Smith of Clayton NC, two brothers; Edward McFadgen (Pearl) of Smithfield NC, James Louis McFadgen of Clayton NC, four sisters; Maxine Bell of Clayton NC, Shirley L. Mills and Patricia A. Groves of Selma NC , Mary Sanders (Leamon) of Clayton NC, five sisters in laws , three brother in laws, twelve nieces, fifteen great nieces, ten nephews, thirteen great nephews, three God-children; Jasmine Smith, Fontera Groves, Dominique Groves a close friend Hurley Gillis and a host of other relatives and friends.
Home Going services for Deacon McFadgen will be held Saturday March 18,2017 at the Western Assembly Disciple of Christ Church located at 9766 US 701 Newton Grove, NC. Viewing will begin at 11:00 am followed immediately by funeral services at 12 noon.
