Smithfield – Irvin McLamb, age 86, died Sunday, December 13, 2020. Born April 2, 1934 in Johnston County he was a son of the late Wiley D. and Anna Rhodes McLamb. He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen McLamb; brothers, Marvin McLamb, Darius McLamb, Bernice McLamb, Louis McLamb, Walter McLamb, and Julius McLamb; and sisters, Betty Benson and Pearl Parker.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2020 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. Burial will follow in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Wednesday just prior to the service at the funeral home.
Surviving are his wife, Marie McLamb; son, Troy McLamb of Smithfield; brother, Daniel McLamb of Clayton; brother, Daniel McLamb of Clayton; and grandchildren, Katelyne McLamb, Kyle McLamb, Brayan Oliva, Shaelyn McLamb, Carlin McLamb, Taryn McLamb and Kristyn McLamb.
