Four Oaks, NC: Mr. James Michael Wood, age 47, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, NC, surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM-Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson, NC. Rev. Randy Beasley will officiate.

Michael was born on October 8, 1973 in Johnston County, NC to the late Willie Melvin “Billy” and Edna Ellen Wood. He was an operations manager with Sky Ware Global in Smithfield, NC. Michael loved the beach, fishing, woodworking and spending time with his family. He will be missed by his friends and family.

Surviving include his wife of 27 years, Karen Evans Wood; children, Kristin Wood, Justin Wood, and Daulton Wood; brother, Darryl Wood; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Linda Evans; sister-in-law, Lisa Kemp and husband, Robert; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6:00PM-8:00PM, Monday, September 13, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home, 301 W. Main Street, Benson, NC 27504.
