Jacob Robert Basili. Born April 21, 1990 in Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away December 27, 2019 at the age of 29 in Clayton, North Carolina. Jacob was a graduate of Wachusett Regional High-School in 2008. He continued his education excelling in cable and fiber optics while working in the field.
Jacob grew up in Rutland, Massachusetts where he shared endless shenanigans with his family. After high-school graduation, he moved to South Carolina eventually re-locating to North Carolina where he settled down with his longtime girlfriend Nikki ward and her two children, Alana and Jarid and their dogs Bronx and Luna.
Jacob lived life to its fullest, always looking for a spontaneous adventure or something new to tinker with or collect. Numerous family vacations over the years have resulted in endless treasured memories that will never be forgotten. Jacob had a playful spirit; he had an infectious giggle and wonderful sense of humor. He was a beautiful person who made family out of friends and colleagues wherever he went, and will be very missed by many.
Jacob was the loving son of Robert and Lori Basili. He leaves behind his Brother Joseph Richardson and his sister Amanda Monette, her husband Jason Monette and their son Gabriel Monette. His partner Nikki Ward and her children Alana and Jarid. He is survived by his grandmother Marilyn Fennell, and predeceased by his grandmother Carole Roueche, and grandfathers John Fennell and Myles Q. Jellison. He leaves behind Aunts, Uncles and Cousins who regarded him as a son and brother.
Jacob, we hope you have found your Shangri-La.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter of 111 Young Road, P.O. Box 136, East Brookfield, Massachusetts.
