Selma – Jamaal Rashad Porter, age 36, died Sunday, October 10, 2021 in the Durham VA. Born April 6, 1985 in Panama City, Panama he was a son of Ivan Porter of California and the late Jacqueline Brown Porter. Jamaal was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Cary and also served his country in the United States Navy.
Surviving in addition to his father are his wife, Kristen Porter; daughter, Amara Porter; son, Quinn Porter, all of the home; brother, Ivan Porter, Jr. of Cary; and sisters, Jazzmin Moss of Virginia and Iyana Alewine of Durham.
