Benson, NC: Mr. James Aaron Bland, Sr., age 25, died Friday, November 29, 2019 at his residence. Funeral Service will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Banner’s Chapel Advent Christian Church in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Joe Brown. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Benson.
Mr. Bland was born September 13, 1994 in Wake County to the late James E. and Pamela Benson Bland. He was a painter.
Surviving include his children, James Aaron Bland, Jr. and Brelynn Marie Hepler both of Benson; grandparents, Sharon and Floyd Strickland of Benson; great-grandmother, Gladys Blackmon of Benson; sister, Jessica Johnson and husband, Casey of Benson; nieces and nephews, Aleighah Johnson, Addilyn Johnson, Zachary Johnson and Benjamin Pope; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM – 2:45 PM, Wednesday, at the church and other times at the home of Sharon and Floyd Strickland, 2734 NC Hwy 242 North, Benson, NC 27504.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be to Jessica Johnson 2734 NC Hwy 242 North Benson, NC 27504.
