James Durand Mumford

Kenly- James Durand Mumford, 78, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon at his home surrounded by his loving family.
James was born November 7, 1938, in Wilson County to the late George Carl and Ida Poythress Mumford. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.
A service will be held privately for the family at the family cemetery.
James is survived by his loving wife of almost fifty years, Marie Hooks Mumford; daughters, Angela Holland and husband Wayne and Nancy Renfrow and husband Russell of Kenly; brother, Carl Frances Mumford and wife Myrtle of Lucama; grandchildren, Durand Mumford, Crystal Howard and husband Dillan, Rusty Renfrow and Lindsey Holland; and his great granddaughter Emma Mumford.
