Middlesex – James Todd Avery, age 48, died Monday, May 1, 2017 in Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh. Born January 20, 1969 in Pitt County he was a son of James Thomas Avery and wife Linda of Pine Tops and the late Jean Mills Avery. Todd attended Antioch Baptist Church in Middlesex.
A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Jonathan Turner and Rev. Jim Summerson officiating.
Surviving in addition to his father and stepmother are his wife, Nancy Avery of Middlesex; three stepchildren; brothers, Shane Avery of Raleigh and Chris Avery of Knightdale; sister, Misty Avery of Pine Tops; step brother, Bryan Webb of Macclesfield; and his paternal grandmother, Lorraine Avery of Pine Tops.
