Kenly – Janice Lucille Jernigan Lynch, age 75, died Thursday, January 31, 2019 in WakeMed in Raleigh. Born October 23, 1943 in Johnston County she was a daughter of the late John B. and Lucille McLamb Jernigan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lynch; brothers, Donald Jernigan, Charlton Jernigan, and JC Jernigan; and sister, Ellen Bunnells. Janice was a member of Lanwood Chapel Church in Smithfield.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2019 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Petit officiating. Burial will follow in Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home just prior to the service.
Surviving are her son, William Lynch and wife Debra of Kenly; brother, Edward Lee Jernigan and wife Carol of Benson; and sisters, Jewel Gray Lee of Smithfield, Eloise Cox of Hope Mills, and Joyce Bain and husband Jimmy of Fuquay Varina.
