    Jasper Jackson “Jack” Weaver, age 87, of Selma, passed away on December 20, 2017. Born in Johnston County on October 13, 1930, he was the son of the late Ira Erastus and Ina Estelle Aycock Weaver and was preceded in death by his beloved wife Agnes Sutton Weaver. Mr. Weaver was a retired farmer and a jack of all trades. He was a member of Pleasant Plain Original Free Will Baptist Church.
    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 23, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with burial following in Selma Memorial Gardens.
    Surviving are his son Arnold Jasper Weaver and wife Faye of Whitesburg, KY; his daughter Charlotte Marie Weaver of Princeton; grandchild Traci Gayle Dumschat and husband Paul; brothers Jimmy Weaver of Four Oaks, Wilbert Weaver of Louisburg, and Kenneth Weaver of Clayton; sisters Anne Beasley of Four Oaks and Gray Lassiter of Raleigh; sister-in-law Edna Elizabeth Bryan of Raleigh and brother-in-law Harold Sutton of Goldsboro.
    The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 6 to 8 PM.
