    Jarvis “Kojack” Lavan Sullivan, Sr., 82, of Goldsboro passed away at his home on May 16, 2018. He was born to the late Albert and Ora Sullivan on May 16, 1936. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother; a sister, Nora Blackman; 2 grandsons, Walton Lee Sullivan and Albert Daniel Edwards. A memorial service will be held at Casey Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 7:00 pm. Burial will take place at a later date in The Sullivan Family Cemetery in Selma.

    Mr. Sullivan was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Goldsboro. He was a big Duke Blue Devils fan and graduated from Selma High School.

    He is survived by his wife, Margaret Sullivan and 7 children; Lenora Sullivan of Rosewood, Lavan and Nancy Sullivan of Bunn, Tammie Fail and fiance Trent Norris of Rosewood, Loretta Colie and partner Richard Nash of Goldsboro, Frank and Judy Cowan of VA., Ellen and Mark Handy of Elon, Marie and Don McMullen of Goldsboro; sister, Elsie Sellers of Smithfield; brother-in-law, Noah Blackman, 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

    The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Casey Funeral Home Chapel.
