Four Oaks: Mrs. Jean Temple Allen age 84 died Monday at Four Oaks Senior Living. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Thursday at the Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel, Four Oaks. Mr. Durwood Jackson will officiate. Burial will follow in Temple Family Cemetery, Four Oaks.
Mrs. Allen was born April 15, 1933 in Johnston County to the late Bennett Rother and Naomi Ellis Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Albright Allen; sister, Doris T. Allen; brother, R. A. Temple. Mrs. Allen was a homemaker and worked at Belk’s Department Store. She was a member of Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Church.
Surviving are nephew and wife, Randy and Linda Allen of Four Oaks; sister-in-law, Mary Temple of Four Oaks; brother-in-law, John H. Allen and wife, Lucy of Four Oaks.
Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks on Thursday from 10:00AM – 10:45AM and other times at the home of Randy and Linda Allen 1629 Parker Road Four Oaks, NC 27524.
The Allen family would like to thank Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation and Four Oaks Senior Living staff and special family friends, Lucky Williams and Judy George for all the loving care they gave Mrs. Allen during her sickness.
