Princeton – Shirley Jean Massey Williams, age 80, died Thursday, November 23, 2017 in Duke Medical Center in Durham. Born on February 17, 1937 in Johnston County she was a daughter of the late Frank and Lillie Aycock Massey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar L. Williams; brother, Franklin Massey; and daughter-in-law, Barbara Williams. Jean was a member of Bizzell Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church.
A graveside service will be conducted on 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 26, 2017 in Bizzell Grove Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Saturday evening at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.
Surviving are her son, Dale Williams of Princeton; daughters, Ramona Westbrook and husband Eric of Sims and Amy Mock and husband Jeff of Montverde, FL; brother, Douglas Massey; sisters, Opal Massey and Frankie Mae Talton, all of Princeton; and grandchildren, Adam Williams, Caleb Williams, Daniel Westbrook, Rachel Westbrook, Lily Mock, and Landon Mock.
