Jeannie Carter Jones, 59, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. She was born in Wayne County on May 25, 1960 to the late Linwood Earl Carter and Henrietta Nancy Howell Carter. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 12:00 noon at Vinson Cemetery, directly across from 144 Vinson Rd., Goldsboro, NC 27534 with the Reverend Randy Hill officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
She is survived by sons, Travis Carter and wife, Kasie of Dunn, and Robert Jones and wife, Renee of Goldsboro; daughter, Jennifer Melissa Crumpler and husband, Derrick of Goldsboro; brothers, Ronnie Carter and Ike Carter both of Goldsboro; sisters, Mary Lee Peele of Goldsboro, and Carolyn Dail of LaGrange; 9 grandchildren, Carlie, Jesse, Kailey, Makenna, Alissa, Jace, Weston, Quinn and Natalia.
