MICRO – Jeannie Hicks Wilkins, age 64, died Sunday evening in WakeMed of Raleigh. For many years, she was the owner\operator of the Green Hornet Grill. Born February 11, 1953 in Smithfield, NC to the late Lester Earl and Lois Irene Narron Hicks, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Faye Hicks.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Parrish Funeral Home.
Surviving are her daughter, Jada Rhodes and husband Jamie of Selma; brothers, David Hicks and wife Kim and Johnny Hicks and wife Tammie all of Selma; sister, Linda Hicks of Selma, two grandsons, Baley Rhodes and Camron Rhodes and several special nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be conducted at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to The Me Fine Foundation, 5100 US 70-E, Princeton, NC 27569.
