Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Jerry Young Parker, age 65 passed away Wednesday at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Juniper Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Four Oaks. Officiating will be Rev. Grace Hargis.
Mr. Parker was born on July 23, 1951 in Johnston County to the late Junius Young and Maude Allen Parker. He was a retired delivery truck driver for Frontier. Mr. Parker enjoyed golfing and antique cars.
He is survived by his sisters, Betty West and husband, Floyd of Florida, Joyce McKeel and husband, Ben of Virginia, Alice Martin of Four Oaks; brother, Dennis Parker and wife, Linda of Four Oaks.
The Parker family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of the ICU Unit of UNC Johnston Health for the care they provided Jerry.
The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.
