Jessie Larkin Brown, Jr., age 74, of Smithfield passed away at his home on January 1, 2019. Born in Johnston County on August 21, 1944, he was the son of the late Jessie Larkin and Katie Bell Garner Brown. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10-11 AM. Burial will be private.
Surviving are his wife, Frances Sanders Brown.
