Jimmy Mac Narron, age 74, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021 in Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Born September 6, 1946 in Johnston County he was the son of the late McDaniel and Ozie Boykin Narron. He was preceded in death by his sister, Frankie Narron. Jimmy was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and attended Temple Represents in Selma. He was also the owner of Narron’s Beagles and was well known as a breeder in the beagle community.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 1, 2021 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Creech officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Sunday just prior to the service at the funeral home. The family asks that all guests wear a mask and practice social distancing.
Surviving are his wife, Jean Batten Narron; son, Dean Narron and wife Kelly; daughter, Dawn Wood and husband Craig, all of Middlesex; grandchildren, Hunter Owens of Wilmington, Logan Wood, Abby Narron, Kolton Narron, Tucker Narron, and Chase Narron; and stepgrandson, Landon Hill all of Middlesex.
