Clayton – Jimmy “Jimbo” Wayne Peedin, age 69, passed away Friday July 2, 2021 at Johnston Health Clayton. Born in Johnston County on April 6, 1952 to the late Troy and Teeny Parrish Peedin. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a brother, Randall Peedin.
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday July 6, 2021 at 12 PM at Powhatan Original Free Will Baptist Church. The family will receive visitors at the church from 11 am to 12 PM on Tuesday. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
He is survived by wife of 49 years, Sandra West Peedin; son, Adam Peedin and wife Ashley of Garner; daughter, Kelly Cormack and husband Rob of Clayton; brothers, Steve and Johnny Peedin; sisters, Lucy Meese, Katie Parrish, Brenda Mitchell and Myra Edwards; grandchildren, Austin Peedin, Addison Peedin and Brodie Cormack; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mr. Peedin was a United States Army Veteran and enjoyed riding horses and breeding dogs. In addition to flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Parkinson’s Foundation 200 SE 1st Street Suite 800 Miami, FL 33131.
