Mr. John Donald Alt, Jr., age 54, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021 at UNC Rex Healthcare. Memorial Services will be held 6:00 P.M.-Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Benson Grove Baptist Church in Benson. Brother Billy Cashwell and Pastor Tim Boone will officiate.
Mr. Alt was born on April 28, 1967 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland to the late John Donald Alt, Sr. and Patsy Norris Alt. He was a Utilities Operator with Novo-Nordisk and a member of Benson Grove Baptist Church. He was beloved by all and a committed husband, father, brother, and friend.
Surviving include his wife of 27 years, Angie Alt; children, Geoffrey Michael Alt, Jordan Delaney Alt, and Jansen Renee Alt; sister, Janet Cotten and husband Wesley; brother, Allan Alt; and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service.
