Coats: Mr. John Ira Lee, age 66, of Brandon Lane passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM, Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Rev. Freddy Wayne Langston and Dr. Zane Lapinskies will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery, Benson.
Mr. Lee was born December 6, 1954 in Harnett County to the late Jater D. and Ester Parker Lee. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Turner Lee; and his brother, J.C. Peacock. Mr. Lee retired from Chicopee as a machine operator.
Surviving includes his children, Jamie Lee and wife, Tammie of Dunn, Amy Lee and special friend, Jamie Denton of Benson, John Ross Lee and wife, Cashie of Dunn; grandchildren, Jackson Lee, Leighton Lee, Liza Mae Lee; mother of his children, Debbie Lee of Benson; step-children, Tammy and Howard Hayes of Faison, Rusty and Robyn McLamb of Clayton; step-grandchildren, Melissa Otto, Eric Little, Turner McLamb, Ashleigh McLamb, Josh Holder and Ethan Hayes; step- great- grandchildren, Carson Otto and Peyton Terrill; sisters, Sue Dohm of Micro, Doris Raynor of Four Oaks, Shirley McRae of Smithfield, Linda Lee of North Wilkesboro; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Monday, November 15, 2021 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home of John Ross and Cashie Lee, 128 Clubhouse Drive, Dunn, NC 28334.
