John Marvin Brewer, 71, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019 at his home.
John was born in Wilson County on December 11, 1947 to the late Willard Earl Brewer and Laudie Thomas Crocker Brewer. John retired as a supervisor from Barnhill Contracting.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Kenly Funeral Service followed by a service of remembrance at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will take place on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Kenly Cemetery.
John is survived by his brothers, Charles Brewer (Ruth) of Middlesex, Jerry Brewer (Evelyn) of Wilson, and Roland Brewer (Gail) of Wilson; sisters, Lela Perry of Wilson and Jean Sanders (Kenneth) of Middlesex; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Janis Lucille Benson Brewer; brothers, Clifton Brewer and Bobby Brewer; and sister, Margie Pittman.
The family will be recieving friends at other times at his home.
