Johnny Wayne Givens, 77, son of the late John Henry and Dorothy Smith Givens, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sandra T. Givens; sons, Todd Givens and wife Kay of Clayton, Joel Givens of Clayton; grandchildren, Johnathan Givens (Hannah) Emily Givens (Connor), Todd Givens, Jr. (Kylie) Brook Holloman (Clif); a very special great grandson, Kameron Wheeler whom he loved with all his heart; a sister, Gwenda Wells and husband Greg; daughter-in-law, Denise Givens and several family members in Alabama. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, J. Scott Givens.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 11:00 am in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home with the committal service following at Maplewood Cemetery in Clayton. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 30th from 6 until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
