Mr. Jose Luis Rivera, Jr., age 52, of 35 Preserve Dr., passed away on October 11, 2021 at Duke Raleigh Hospital. Funeral Services will be held in New York at a later date.
Mr. Rivera was born on November 17, 1968 in New York City to Jose Luis Rivera, Sr and Olga Iris Otero. He was a US Marine Veteran and a New York City Department of Corrections Captain.
Surviving include his wife, Irene Clemente Rivera; daughter, McKenzie Rivera; mother, Olga Otero; step daughter, Aerin Clemente; sister, Sandra Outeiral; nephews, Jose Outeiral and Emmanuel Outeiral.
