Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Joseph Eldridge Lee, age 93, died Monday at The Laurels in Garner. Funeral Service will be Thursday 11:00AM at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Revs. Johnny Haney and Billy Nowell. Burial will follow in Faith Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Four Oaks.
Mr. Lee was born February 25, 1924 in Johnston County to the late Samuel and Alice Webb Lee. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Christine Allen Lee; special friend, Doris Jackson; sons, Larry Lee, Al Lee; daughter, Lisa Lee Lawrence; brothers and sisters, Herman Webb, Thomas Lee, Martha Williford, Ethel Sorey, Mary Massengill, and Christine Lee. Mr. Lee was a retired drywall contractor and also a member of Bethesda Baptist Church in Clayton.
Surviving are daughter & son-in-law, Linda and Husel Lee of Garner; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery Wayne and Kim Lee of Willow Springs; eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; step-daughters, Faye Reeds of Linden and Lucille Jacobs of Clinton; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 PM – 8:00PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and other times at the home of Jeffery and Kim Lee 3456 Sanders Road Willow Springs, NC 27592.
