Mrs. Josephine Parrish Roberts, age 89 of 930 Reedy Creek Road, Four Oaks, died Saturday, September 2, 2017 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM-Monday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Four Oaks. Burial will follow in Oakland Heights Cemetery in Smithfield. Rev. Steve Morris will officiate.
Mrs. Roberts was born on January 18, 1928 in Johnston County to the late Percy Clovis and Ethel Moore Parrish. She w as preceded in death by her husband, John J. Roberts, son, Johnnie H. Roberts, Sr., brother, James Lewis Parrish. She was a seamstress with the Jerold Corporation. She was a member of St. Mary’s Grove Original Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are her sons and daughter-in-law, Terry J. and Joyce Roberts of Four Oaks, and Rod and Tara Roberts of Four Oaks; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 12:30 PM-1:30 PM Monday prior to the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and other times at the home.
