Mrs. Joy Ann Adams, age 77, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC surrounded by her family. Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 12 at 2:00PM at the Rose and Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Four Oaks. Rev. Billy Nowell and Rev. Charles Dudley will officiate. Burial will follow at Faith Original Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Four Oaks.
Mrs. Joy was born on February 1, 1944 in Johnston County to the late Walter Stanley and Katy Stanley. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Adams. Joy was loved by her family and friends. She attended Lee’s Chapel Advent Christian Church and was a very active member in WHFMS Group.
Surviving include her son, Larry Adams and fiancé, Joyce Davis of Four Oaks and daughter, Terri Lee and husband, Alan of Pine Level.
The family will receive friends at Rose and Graham Funeral Home on Thursday, November 11th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
