Benson, NC: Mrs. Joyce Ruth Young Anderson, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn, NC with her family by her side. Private Graveside Funeral Services will be held. Randy Beasley will officiate.
Mrs. Anderson was born on June 14, 1955 in Wayne County, NC to the late Valton Young and Ruth Surles Young Phillips. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Alice Adams, Martha Young and Linda Altieri and brother, Willie Young. Mrs. Anderson was a retired child care provider.
Surviving include her husband of 38 years, Bob Anderson, sister, Doris Smith and husband, Ricky and a brother, Billy Young and wife, JoAnne; sister-in-law, Libby Young; many nieces and nephews.
